What a Great Evening!!!

The Barn Dance was a hit!!  I think everyone had a great time.
The LAF Committee did an outstanding job turning an empty
retail store into a "Country & Western Dance Hall"!!  A very
special thanks to Susan Bean for the barn raisin'.  She spent
 time and energy painting and getting it up on the wall. 
Kathy Walker raided her cousin's farm and brought in the quilt,
ropes, horseshoes, old pump, and other barn items.  What a great
team of workers.

 Miss Mae Lyons may have been giving him some "free dance lessons"!!! 
She is a dance instructor, by the way - lives right here in Lake Park, too. 
We may have to talk her into some local dance instruction!!

I will try and post more pictures. I have to get copies from Susan, she took lots
of really good shots.  Like I said in emails earlier -
I am not a computer whiz.  I am learning this as I go.

Barn Dance Saturday Night Oct. 23rd

Excitement is in the air!!  The LAF Committee is having so much
fun creating the "Country & Western" theme for the dance.  We

    Country & Western Barn Dance
          Saturday, October 23
              6:00 - 10:00 PM
5323 Mill Store Road  Lake Park, GA
(next to Carter's in the shopping plaza)

Come on over and join us for some
pure country fun!  There will be some
square dancing, line dancing, Texas
2-stepping and much more.

Tickets are $10.00 per person at the
door which includes your meal:
chili & cornbread, cornchips, snacks,
beverage and dessert.
